Rethink

Do you REALLY need that thing?! Can something else you already have work just as well? This is "rethinking" your purchase. If you don't need it, leave it!

"When we become conscious of our choices and question whether or not we really need something, we are better able to make informed decisions." AeromatiCo.com

Refuse

Yes... it may hard at first but well worth it to the planet ( and your health) to give up the use of single-use plastic.

Repair &/or Reuse

It may seem daunting, but YOU CAN DOOO IT! You were born in the time of YOUTUBE for a reason. Watch a couple of videos and see if it will be possible for you, a friend or loved one can handle the job. If not, try some of the new 'task economy" sites where you can find local handy-people that may be able to help.

What is "compost"?
Sustainable Composting
Sustainable Composting

According to Wikipedia Compost (/ˈkɒmpɒst/ or /ˈkɒmpoʊst/) is organic matter that has been decomposed in a process called composting. This process recycles various organic materials otherwise regarded as waste products and produces a soil conditioner (the compost).

The average American household throws out 1600 lbs of food equalling over 25 million tons of food waste goes to US landfills each year! With composting, these valuable organic materials are kept out of the landfills and turned into all-natural, organic soil. The way Mother Nature intended. We use the BioDigestor method and get 3 different products out your food waste:

1. Fertile Soil

2. Compost Tea

3. Methane Gas - we hope to use this for a backup generator or for cooking gas in our community kitchen to help offset costs.
